Burma Day of Prayer

You are invited to join the annual Burma Day of Prayer at the Emmanuel Centre this March.

Building on successive years of prayer, on the day Christian Solidarity Worldwide will combine advocacy insights alongside personal testimonies from representatives of Burma’s ethnic minorities.

Programme includes:

Benedict Rogers, CSW’s East Asia Team Leader presenting the latest situation in Burma.

Richard Chilvers, Board member of Partners Relief & Development, speaking about his experiences working with refugees on the eastern border.

Presentations from representatives of Burma’s minority people groups who suffer human rights abuses.

Contemporary worship from Burma’s ethnic nationalities and opportunities for informed prayer.

Resources include video message from Aung San Suu Kyi

A prayer resource for the International Burma Day of Prayer will be available from the CSW website prior to the London event. It can be used to inform church leaders and house groups about the needs of Burma and will unite the prayers of Christians throughout the world during these annual intercessions.
